Todd Britton has been playing the piano since 1974. He has been a songwriter since 1983. His love of music motivated him to learn more about both the history of music and the methods that could be used to achieve musical goals, both technically and instrumentally. This motivation also led him to learn a variety of other instruments including cello, bass, voice, guitar, drums and violin.

Additional schooling and individual research revealed the need for sharing his knowledge with others to allow more individuals to realize their aspirations and potential. Ergo, his first teaching studio, Limelight Studio was begun in Colorado Springs, CO. in 1995.

After moving to northern California in 1998, he started Syncopated Studio in which he built a successful teaching studio as well as becoming a proficient composer for hire. He is an accomplished musician and composer. He has and always will study many different styles of music with a wide variety of influences. His original compositions can be extremely diverse in style and instrumentation. This unique advantage makes his music stand out and get noticed.
